Membership in the Barrow Bay Property Owners’ Association is voluntary — and it is how neighbours fund the channel, share news, and keep a voice at the municipality. Your 2026 dues also include membership in FOCA, Ontario’s waterfront property-owner network.
2026 membership dues
One household, one membership. Boat fees apply only if you keep a powered craft at Barrow Bay.
- Base membership $40.00
- Plus one powered boat $40.00
- Plus two or more powered boats $60.00
Boat fees are in addition to the $40 base. Example: one family with one powered boat pays $80 for 2026.

Why join
Dues are modest because the work is local: dredging the channel, representing Barrow Bay at council, mailing newsletters in winter, and hosting the AGM, golf tournament, and picnic. Members also receive free, unlimited use of the private boat ramp at 12 Channel Road and FOCA benefits (insurance referrals, Cottage Life discount, succession seminars, and a provincial voice on waterfront issues).
