Why BBPOA exists
The channel is our lifeline.
A man-made cut joins Little Lake to Georgian Bay. Dredging and restoration are not a municipal given — they are paid for by membership dues, the golf tournament, and the picnic. That is the real work of this association.
A waterfront community on the Bruce Peninsula
Barrow Bay covers all shores of Little Lake and nearby homes and cottages on Georgian Bay, south of Lion’s Head, Ontario. About 85% of us are seasonal cottagers and 15% live here year-round. Almost every household belongs to the association.
BBPOA is voluntary. Dues include FOCA membership, use of the private boat ramp at 12 Channel Road, and a voice at the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
